Scott Arnold attended West Virginia University in 1999 with a major in journalism and minor in music, with aspirations to become a music industry writer for Rolling Stone. While at WVU, he was a three year member of the Mountaineer Marching Band as a trombonist and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity. After realizing that college wasn’t for him, he returned home to Clarksburg, WV and began working for his father’s oil and gas business, where he remains today.
Scott is the founder of the West Virginia Podcasters Association. He is also a supporting member of the Friends of the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame, the Save The Music Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation. In addition to Acute Mania Live, he is also the creator and host of The Horn Section, a podcast about road rage and pet peeves. He is currently the vocalist and synth player in Deviant Cause and has played music with many other area artists over the years.
